On November 11, the Weining Interchange Taizi River Grand Bridge, the sole large-span bridge of the Benxi-Huanren Expressway in Liaoning Province, was successfully completed. The project was invest by China Railway Investment Group, constructed by China Railway Seventh Group, and supported by the Southwest Institute of China Railway Academy Co,.Ltd..
The bridge, located in Weiningying Village, Benxi, is adjacent to the Shenyang-Dandong Expressway, Binhe North Road, Weining Bridge, Taizi River, and Benxi-Huanren Railway. It features a T-shaped interchange with four ramps (A, B, C, and D). Upon completion, the bridge will significantly improve local transportation, enhance the regional highway network, and benefit residents.
The Benxi-Huanren Expressway spans 254.862 kilometers with a total investment of 26.371 billion yuan. The expressway is expected to open to traffic in October 2025.
