Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the 2024 Green Manufacturing List. China Railway Baoji Bridge Group Nanjing Company, a subsidiary of China Railway Hi-Tech Industry, was recognized as a “National-Level Green Factory” for its outstanding performance in green manufacturing. With this addition, China Railway Hi-Tech Industry now boasts eight enterprises awarded this title.
The Green factories are enterprises that achieve land intensification, harmless raw materials, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy use. This designation is a core unit of green manufacturing. The “National-Level Green Factory” selection, organized by MIIT since 2017, serves as an authoritative certification for enterprises aligning with green development goals. It aims to improve China’s green manufacturing system, promote comprehensive adoption of green practices, and support the industry’s carbon peak and neutrality targets.
