On January 11, the Dongjin Yellow River Bridge, co-constructed by China Railway Hi-Tech Industry, officially opened to traffic.
The Dongjin Yellow River Bridge is located in Lijin County, Dongying City, Shandong Province. It spans a total length of 1,607 meters, with a bridge deck width of 34 meters, tower height of 134.6 meters, and a main span of 420 meters, making it the largest A-shaped cable-stayed bridge in the Yellow River Delta.
China Railway Hi-Tech Industry was responsible for the production, manufacturing, and installation of approximately 12,000 tons of steel structures for the bridge.
With the opening of the Dongjin Yellow River Bridge, the travel time for local residents to cross the Yellow River has been reduced from over 30 minutes via detours and floating bridges to just two minutes by car. The bridge also provides a convenient route for long-distance transportation across Shandong Province, significantly easing cross-Yellow River traffic congestion.
